Macclesfield Festival returns for it's second year!
After an incredible turnout last year, Macclesfield Festival returns on 21st July 2018 with an even bigger and better lineup including Hacienda legends The Happy Mondays, local rock titans The Virginmarys and kids TV favourite Mr Bloom all gracing Priory Park.
The event has been put together by local Macclesfield residents and is a family friendly fun packed day for all people of all ages. The event will take place at the biggest venue Macclesfield has to offer, Priory Park at Macclesfield RUFC. The event will open at 10am with main festivities including live music starting at midday and finishing at 8pm with a huge firework finale and a clubhouse afterparty til late.
Macclesfield Festival is a community lead event and we pride ourselves showcasing local talent, produce, and traders.
At the centre of Macclesfield Festival is the main arena, here you'll find the Macclesfield Rocks Main Stage featuring a perfect blend of established acts alongside the best local talent.
A range of activities and live entertainment to cater for all ages plus a varied range of attractions from kiddie rides and kiosks right up to the latest hi tech thrill rides.
A variety of the regions finest traders from food to crafts plus a beer tent with branded drinks alongside local ales.
You can't miss the huge Yesterday's dance tent, visible from across the entire festival and hosting the much anticipated reunion party of the legendary nightclub. Here you'll also find the Funk & Soul Teepee tents and the LoveDecade Dance Tent.
Arguably the best spot of the festival, why not bring a deckchair with you and enjoy a prime view of the main arena and the Macclesfield Rocks Main Stage.
Cain Golf Academy will be hosting a ‘Tri Golf Corner’ at the Macclesfield Festival. Tri-Golf is a ‘mini’ version of golf for children, which involves the use of adapted equipment and a variety of games designed to provide an enjoyable introduction to the sport. The equipment is designed to be safe and fun and the games will be run by PGA qualified professionals. The clubheads are colour-coded and the balls are sponge, cones and other visual aids are used to aid in the ease of play and define areas of the games.
